Wonder if we would like extra Losties better if they were introduced in their own storylines and how they have interacted with the main ones soo far... They just can't seem to catch a break!!

And every short scene with the Pearl crew reinforced to me that we weren't seeing *any* Claire and Charlie. :(

Well, even though they only got one line between the two of them, this episode, I felt that the acting from these two was pretty good. Well, Paulo was goo, anyway. In Further Instructions, his attitude toward the possibility of Desmond getting himself killed implied, to me, anyway, that the other deaths on the island hadn't affected him too much. I felt that his facial expression tonight really showed someone who was really faced with death up close for the first time.

I'm pretty sure Nikki asked about bringing Eko back to the beach. Everyone I was watching with groaned in unison when she spoke.

I really enjoyed the look Desmond gave when he realized he was going to be left alone with those two. He seems to be as annoyed with them as many of us are.

You know that's pretty interesting. I thought Arnst (LOL!) was SO irritating and was surprised he was blown up, but didn't cry! However, in the Season One Finale montage, I liked him because they showed him Interacting with the other Losties before they crashed - he helped Claire stow her carry-on in the compartment.

That's why I asked the question about whether we would like these other suriving Losties if they introduced them differently. Instead of just "throwing them in the episode", show how they have interacted in the last few weeks with the Main Losties. I felt really bad for Arnst, once I saw how sweet he was to Claire in the montage. ( I LOVE that montage...)

To me, both of these are kind of comments done over and over again are boring. Week, in; week, out, we get thread after thread of Lost just JTS and N&P are lame. The JTS stuff is really tired. It is becoming the most overused phrase on this board. The other choices STB, etc., are just as lame.

As for N&P, how many times did we hear people griping about how there are other survivors on the island, and how come we never see more of them? So, keeping things fresh, TPTB bring two to the front, and more griping. N&P haven't even done anything yet. They're gradually being introduced. I don't have any feelings about them, yet. How could anyone care one way or another at this point? I just don't get it. The show has huge ratings, it's going to be around for a long, long time, so they're going to have more characters from time to time. That's obviously why we didn't just have a handful of survivors. The plan to bring others in has been there from the start. If you are a fan of the show, how about giving these characters a chance to do SOMETHING before you HATE them?

Please just let us have a little fun, eh? These two characters are the least egregious decline in character writing of S3 so we have to have a place to laugh, right?

I mean, Genius Nikki having to suggest that the other TV screens might show different hatches to Locke, the Hatchmaster, and Sayid, the Electronics Whiz? It's a farce in itself.
