Ok, it does not make ANY SENSE to me that Pickett blames Sawyer for the death of Colleen. Are they trying to make some kind of parallel between Pickett's anger and Sayid's blaming of the Others for Shannon's death at the hands of Ana Lucia? Sorry, but it just seems so out there.

It occurred to me at the end of the episode that Pickett may be in cahoots with Juliette. I would think Ben would be pissed if Pickett killed Sawyer, but as soon as Ben is under the gas, Pickett is out the door. Maybe this is because he believes jack will be getting rid of Ben?

The group I was watching with asked the same thing. We were like, "What?! Sawyer didn't DO anything!"

I think Pickett just has some misplaced rage. He needs someone to take it out on and because he lost the person he loves, he wants Kate to have to lose the person she loves, too.

I really think that there is something else going on...I don't really have any idea what exactly just that his reaction seems...I don't want to say extreme because hey the guy just lost his wife, but out of place, because Sawyer really didn't have anything to do with Coleen's death, and Pickett had is out for Sawyer before she died anyway...

Yeah, Sawyer didn't have anything to do with Colleen's death. I think he just wants to take it out on one of the captured Losties and since Sawyer is sort of a trouble maker he goes for him. Also he's grieving and part of that is anger. He's angry that Sawyer has Kate when his love was taken away by them.

I really hate Pickett though. I mean, maybe if you didn't do all this stuff to th Losties they wouldn't be fighting back and killing anyone. He should direct his rage towards Ben.
