Did it bother anyone else that Sawyer didn't tell Kate that there were cameras everywhere? Ben OBVIOUSLY saw what was going on

Does Sawyer know there are cameras everywhere?

He knew that they were watching him when they conned him with the whole pacemaker thing

No - it didn't bother me. We and Ben /Others are the only ones that know there are camaras in the cages. Sawyer and Kate didn't know. They just went with the moment! And who said Ben watched?

Did it occur to anyone else that they (most likely) didn't use a condom? We gonna have little Kate and Sawyers running around soon?

Not true. Sawyer noticed the cameras the first time he was put in the cage. The viewers saw him staring intently at the camera itself.

Even if he wasn't sure then, he was definitely sure after his screwed up electrocution plan. Ben saw what he was doing and then when he confronted Sawyer and Sawyer couldn't get the button to work, he outright TOLD him they turned it off - letting Sawyer know that they were watching him.

I think Sawyer had other things on his mind ;)

And yea i definetly thought about how they didn't use a condom.. I really hope Kate isn't pregnant. It would screw up her character if she was forced into the loving mother role. But she may be taking another pregnancy test sometime soon. :ohwell:

If it were me and I was sure I was gonna die, i wouldn't give a crap about cameras. And that's exactly what happened.

Yes, I agree--at first I didn't remember about the first incident you mentioned, but I definitely thought that Sawyer would be on to him after Ben told him that they'd turned off the juice in his cell.

well...you DO make a good point there! lol Maybe that was the last thing on Sawyer's mind at the time. heh. (After all, he did let Ana-Lucia steal his gun...) ;)

Ben did say they "turned it off" but wasn't he refering to the electricity on the button? I don't think Sawyer knows that there are cameras everywhere.

And I'll just comment on this because I can, even if both of them knew the cameras were everywhere, I don't think they would have done anything different...

If I had Evi's figure I wouldn't care who was watching.

Sawyer definitely knew there were cameras on them. So what he did to Kate was just plain selfish. I don't care if he knew he was going to die or not, that was rude.

Good manners are the least of their problems.

And, Sawyer knew there were cameras on them? How? People keep saying that, but I've not seen anyone point to when or how this knowledge came to him.

Yeah, thought of Benry watching them get it on was kind of disturbing. Although... I guess WE were kind of watching them get it on as well lol.
I think Sawyer knew about the camera's. He saw them in A Tale of Two Cities. Also Sawyer is smart. I'm sure he put together that he was being watched when Ben spoiled his eletricution/escape plan. I just don't think that he was thinking about it at the time. They were in the moment.

But on another note- I wasn't that into the sex scene in general. It just seemed kind of forced.I felt like Kate need to be comforted like in "?" when Libby died. I didn't think that she would just rip of his shirt like that and have sex. And also I just think of Sawyer and Kate as more of a brother/sister kind of deal. Don't get me wrong, that kiss in Confidence Man is legendary, but I haven't been feeling it between them as much anymore. I am Jater and I'm pround. If that glass was wasn't there kate and Jack would have been all over each other! lol

For someone who is as good a con man as Sawyer is presented as being, he should have figured out that there were cameras if only because of Ben knowing about the electrocution plan.

Not even talking about the shipper aspect of the scene, I really didn't like the sex scene since was so creepy - out in the open in the middle of the day, in a cage, Others watching, Others strolling by anytime... I get that he was going to die, etc, etc, whatever. I still think it was a creepy situation.

before the mods get involved, the discussion should move to the thread that was started first.
