What we've learned:
The others have their base (or at least a base) on another island.

The others seem to have homes in the crater of the 'main' island.

The others have some form for contact with the outside world and are able to get very detailed information about people in a fairly short time.

According to Locke there's a white smoke monster too.

The black smoke monster is able to manifest itself as people.

There are more 'others' than the ones we've seen at the camp where Jack, Kate and Sawyer are held captive (mr One Eye on the monitor in the Pearl hatch)

Benjamin might not be the leader afterall as Jacob was mentioned in a way to suggest he's higher up in the ranks than the ones we know (This could be the guy we saw on the monitor in the pearl hatch)

Desmond is able to foretell the future in some way.

There have been children on the island before the planecrash.

According to Benjamin he was raised on the island meaning there has been people there for, say, at least 40 years.

Whatever happened to Desmond when the hatch imploded might have happened to Eko as well as he left a messange on the jesus stick for Locke.

I am sure there are many more things I just don't remember right now but give me some time (I'm working at the moment) and I will probably return with more stuff. feel free to add to the list in the meantime.

the barracks which were mentioned in the pearl station video so we knew about them already

there arent' two monsters just one, you saw the one that pulled locke into a hole and the one that eko saw. if you follow the logic that the monster killed eko and was black smoke, and maybe if john is a good person then it probably wasn't in attack mode for john...who knows gotta wait that out

you don't know that the smoke manifests itself as people

we don't know if that guy is an other or just another case like desmond, suckered into keeping a failed science experiement going.

highly doubtful that the guy in the hatch is 'jacob' we don't know yet who he is...

yea desmond has previsions of the future, too bad we didn't get to see why THATS HAPPENED...

there have been people & children on the island long before any of this happening

island mythology will tell you there have been people there for hundreds of years

too bad we NEVER SAW WHAT HAPPEND!! the biggest thing about the show has been the hatch and when it blows up we can't even see it??????????????????????? ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH

so far we haven't learned squat. we don't know who the others really are, we don't know their motives for being on the island and treating the crash survivors the way they are. it makes no sense at all....esp picketts hate towards sawyer, technically he had nothing to do with his wifes death it was SUN, but it just shows that the others are no better than the crash survivors and are just regular human beings willing to pop someone in the skull with a gun for some revenge.

we have a few puzzple pieces but nothing to connect them to the bigger picture...

The writers have been making it up as they go along.

They have no more idea about what will happen next than we do

The only people who are left watching are shippers so we can expect endless love triangles full of laughable dialogue and cheesy music swelling to an emotional creshendo ever thirty seconds

The shark with the Dharma logo came back to make a cameo so the show could jump back and forth over him multiple times

Hmmm...somebody sure has a flair for the dramatic...

What we've learned, continued:

- Lock really is a looser and anyone who hangs out with him should be very careful
- Sawyer loves Kate
- Sawyer is really good at giving people dirty looks through his dirty hair (and yet be really sexy about it)
- there are only two teenages amongst the Others
- they Others can't even control these two teenagers (rebels that they are)
- Ben takes forever to heal from his beating at the hands of the Losties yet Sawyer heals very quickly even though he is beaten on a regular basis since he was captured
- Hurley doesn't seem traumatized at all about the loss of Kate, Sawyer and Jack or at the realization that Michael betrayed them, I guess that would mean some acting would be involved...

nuff said

We learned that a blond girl could be intelligent even when she is watching tv! (mouhaha, sorry just a joke, no offense to the blonds :angel:)!

we learnt that locke can be stupid and a eye candy girl says "look i will be better then all the survivors in this room, and spot the obivious, so faith man can be stupid, yay" Oh and Paulo finds a toilet.
