You seem to be the sort of iconic, go-to director of Lost episodes (even though many others are great too), and I've really enjoyed every episode, especially visually, that you've directed. So I have a question:

How did you get to be a director? What's the story of getting into your career? I'm really considering a career in that area myself, so I'd love to read your insight into it.

I've also checked out your filmography on IMDb and am surprised to see a list of gigs you've done as an actor. How do you like being an actor? You seem to have many talents.... directing, producing, acting, painting... it's just amazing.
