I remember reading in these forums during season two about when Eko first looked at the smoke monster there were images in the smoke...images of things the producers said we hadn't seen yet but were assured would be addressed in the future as part of Eko's past. My question is...now that we have seen Eko's "last" episode, did it actually make connections with those images in the smoke? I thought I remembered a 'pregnant lady' in the images, but this did not exist in his second episode. Am I mistaken? Did those threads actually get resolved?

I don't remember seeing a pregnant woman, but I did see a woman with a turban and she was in his second flashback. I think all of his visions in the smoke did pan out. :smile:

I thought they were things about Eko's past, which we hadn't seen at that point, but which were shown later in the episode. Things like him in a priest outfit with his brother being shot, and images of the church etc.

I agree. The first images came from his past, right?

Yes they were all images from his past, but TPTB said we'd see some of those things in later Eko flashbacks. So, I'm curious if all the visions did indeed pay off or not.

Hmmm...I just happened across your thread and you've got an interesting quandary here. Do you have the source of where TPTB said we'd see the importance of some things in Eko's smoke-screens? After last week's episode, perhaps Eko's vision was similiar to Desmond's in that he was shown possible futures. This is assuming that you subscribe to this I-don't-know-whether-to-buy-it-yet "time loop" theory.
