It can't be that huge....Juliette seems to be able to get from one place to another relatively quickly. She's not even breathing heavy or breaking into a sweat.

I think the Hydra is essentially the whole of Alcatraz. It appears to be a zoological facility and zoos can be pretty big and complex.

I do belive you are right on because Walt came in on a boat and you have to take a boat from Island to Island and since we didnt know about the second Island in season two yet, it now makes sense as to why he comes on the boat that he and Mike finally leave on
