Yes, with the prowess over the island (especially Double Alcatraz) we have seen the Others exert so far, you'd think they would know about Alex's silly mini-hatch.

I said the same thing when I saw her hideout - "she's just like her mother"!! I can't waif for them to reunite!! I think it would be great to see.

Maybe we will see a Karl/Sawyer rescue team!!

i think that was awesome, she actually builds hide outs. Unlike a person say like Sawyer or kate, Ben and his goons aren't going to lock her up in a cage right? so she runs around free because she isn't like Ben and the others and doesn't want to do their dirty work. A great character and I hope we learn more of her. In answer to a great question posted earlier. Who will she be reunited with first, Karl or Danielle?
I say she'll see Karl again first. When Danielle meets her it will be way more dramatic and I think they'd save that for a later time.

I'll bet she and Danielle have already seen each other. I think Danielle uses her as a spy, and in trade, Alex gets to see Karl. Something like that. Now, as for Danielle saying she doesn't know where Alex is (to the Losties), that could just be a lie of sorts.

Alex has been on Alcatraz when she was supposed to be (like when she talked to Kate at the chain gang work site) and probably has little hideways so she can move freely about the island.

First thing I though of when I saw the 'mini hatch' was that would be condusive to 'the whispers'.....

The Whispers fans (link in siggy) do think that the children are whispering, but how would these hideouts help to project their voices in that strange way they Whispers appear? Especially since this hideout is on Alcatraz, and we've heard the Whispers on the main island.

I think Alex needs to be nicknamed the "sling shot sniper" after her daring shot in the woods. Also, whats with the "Clockwork Orange" reprogramming of Karl. Did any of those phrases make sense to anyone?

I also instantly made the connection to Danielle with the little bunker, although I don't think the two have been reunited. It's too bad Alex didn't get on the boat, because Kate could have told Alex about her mother. She knows the story from Maternity Leave.

Their reunion is one of the main resolutions on my wish list. I can't wait for it to happen, although I'm sure it won't go smoothly. Alex will be shocked to know that Ben isn't her real father.

Real-life speaking, I'm surprised Kate didn't say anything right away the moment she met Alex. She may not have put it all together in time, though.

Ah, you took the words out of my mouth. Pretty cool that even though she's be seperated from her mother for so long she's sneaky and cunning and smart like her. Plus, she's got the whole long, crazy, brunette hair thing going on. :)

That image has puzzled me ever since I noticed it. Wait long enough and strange things eventually make sense with this show.

What puzzles me is why does she build such elaborate one.

The mini-thatch-hatch had a hinged entry. The covering was not solid but had vision slots which allowed the people in the hatch to look out clearly, but not allow the outside to look in very well.

The location puzzels me as well. Why out in the middle of a field in Alcatraz? How many more of these exist on Alcatraz? On the main island? :undecide:

ha, yeah. i'd like to see her come to camp somehow (the losties). and make the "mini-hatches" for everyone. i think they'll need it. And I want her to re-unite w/ her mother!!!

I can't wait for that moment either crazyhatch! I think that will make for some great tv the moment when Danielle is reunited with Alex.
