I found the entire scene in the morgue, when Alpert and Ethan Rom showed up, incredibly disturbing. When Dr. Alpert was pitching a position with Mittelos to Juliet, and she was crying over Edmund not letting her go, the second she said "he'd have to be hit by a bus", I figured he probably would be . . . I'm sure many others in this community thought the same thing. A powerful manipulation . . . I thought Ethan and Dr. Alpert were incredibly menacing . . . a job offer that Juliet can't refuse. It would take a lot to get Juliet there considering her sister - the bus "accident" might have done the trick.

I'm anxious now for the first episodes 'not in Portland', where we see these relationships developing at the early stages.

How COULD she say no after that? Really? :)

"I'm sorry... but I just can't."
"But... we had a BUS... hit your EX-HUSBAND."
