Or...the Grey's Anatomy Connection!!!

I was previously sort of fascinated that ABC's two highest rated shows both had a Doctor Shephard as one of the main characters, but now that we have a Doctor Shephard and Doctor Burke on each show, should I suspect some sort of network-wide conspiracy? Are we later going to find out that Ethan was also a doctor, and that his last name was, I don't know, Sloan? Kerev?

I caught on to that too. Maybe there will be an odd tie-in. I hope not...that would make the shows lose credibility. I know, the writers all go out together on the weekend and exchange/steal character names.
