At San Diego Comic-Con, Damon said there'd be a "brain frying" moment mid-season. I'm going to assume this episode is it.

If it isn't I'd fear what the real brain frying moment may be. :eek2:

Ha ha, too true. But isn't the brain frying moment supposed to come in epi 12 or am I thinking of something else?

Yes, my brain is DEFINITELY fried. I felt like I sat through an entire day's worth of very difficult college classes at the end of tonight's episode. Not to mention that I kept saying "WHAT? I'm so CONFUSED!" during each commercial break

I'm not sure this is it CR. I think this is definitely leading us to it, but something tells me we're in for a bumpier ride than we just experienced.

(That is freakin' awesome if that's the case, IMHO...)

All I can hear is the sound of sizzling and the smoke detectors going off.

Hard to say if this was THE brain frying moment....but TPTB definetly said THIS about it:

Desmond is also the subject of a flashback device employed "in a way we never have before and never will again," hints Lindelof. "It'll either blow people's minds or chase them away for good." Source: Entertainment Weekly (http://www.ew.com/)

So....take that for what it's worth...All I know is...while watching this eppy...I was gettin kinda pissed they were spending so much time in flashback land...But by the end...I didn't WANT to get back to the island!! I kept waiting for that old lady to show up and drop some more Brain Fry Bombs.

But...I have to imagine there will be a bigger Brain Fry moments than this in upcoming eppys.

My brain is definitely frying to the point where I'm unsure whether I'm posting coherently or not.
If this wasn't the moment and it's still to come, we are all going to be bug-eyed, freaked out and and posting in capital letters when it happens!

I went back and found the quote about the game-changer, which I assume is the same as the brain-fryer.

Is it too early to be talking about Lost's return in three months? Heck, no! According to series cocreator Damon Lindelof, "two bombs" will be dropped shortly after the island thriller resurfaces on February 7. "One is a character bomb, and that will happen within the first three episodes after the break," Lindelof reveals. "And the other is a more significant story bomb-- a game-changer that will happen shortly after."
Source: TV Guide (November 13-19) (http://spoilerslost.blogspot.com/2006/11/lost-drops-two-bombs.html)

If tonight wasn't that moment, I need some serious meds.

I think the rest of this season is going to be crazy. Maybe that's why the first six eps. seemed so slow; TPTB didn't want to cause all of their viewers to go into cardiac arrest.

My sister's brain is definitely a little bit fried, we are just talking about last night's episode and she said at the end of it she felt like she wasn't real!!!! We are still laughing about that! she felt like desmond felt, like she was in a different world!!
that's what desmond does to alot of women!!!

I really hope that was the brain frying moment. Otherwise I think I'll be checking myself into the Santa Rosa Mental Health Institute.

I wouldn't say my brain is fried. The flashback/dream was rather ambiguous, for sure, but I wouldn't label it as brain-frying.

I agree! Yes, the show can get very confusing, but to me that just makes it all the more better. Bring on the mystery!
