Yeah that was some expensive whiskey for the hatchlings. Ironic that Widmore may have paid for it if the speculation that he's connected to Dharma turns out to be true.

I like it how every show that the dude who plays Widmore is on he is a "bad" or "shady" father character. Typecasting much?

So was it Charles or Penny that sent the hot air balloon to the island that the real Henry Gale (the black man whose ID was found) died in? Didn't that balloon say Widmore Industries on it?

I say this because Widmore is a fictional character and not a real human...
He needs to be beaten with a cricket bat to a stain on the floor. Oh man, what an unbelievable bastid! Yes, he's delightfully cruel and a wonderful new villain, but damn. You just don't harsh on Des that way when I'm watching the show. Oh no you don't.

Kudos to that actor, he made me hate him in an instant.

Man he is nasty. Even intercepting Des' letters and paying him to stay away from Pen. It's almost like he knows something about Des that could get in the way of whatever he's doing with Hanso (which he is, right?)

alan dale who plays mr.widmore also plays mr. meade, the head of meade publications in ugly betty. both characters are rich SOBS, and nasty too...
