When desmond predicted the rain in his "flashback" stage, it of course reminded me of Locke way back in early season 1, and it may me wonder if the same thing happened to him. Did he have a flashback or loop of his own?

Locke seems a lot less sure of what is going on and happening with himself than Desmond now does, so maybe it doesn't work. But his flashes of faith smack of "just knowing" what the right thing is to do. Could it be that he had a similar experience, but with so much less intensity that the detailed/specific flashes and memory do not reach his consciousness?

And of course, the late Mr. Eko had flashes of "island faith" as well. Do Locke and Eko share any major island experience? Maybe one that involves going back into the past? Anyone?
