I've been a fan of hers for several years. She was simply awesome as the ring lady who offers to shed a bit of light on Desmond's situation and how he's pre-destined to go to the island...

Incidently, Ms. Flanagan starred in the movie called...(drumroll please) THE OTHERS with Nicole Kidman. It told the story of a war widow living in an eerie mansion with her two children....with a surprise twist.

She indeed was magnificent...
But then you have to be familiar with her work to really know how good she was in this. Folks who haven't seen her probably think that's just her normal persona. It's not, she's a chameleon of an actress.

I'm rather put out by the people referring to her as simply "the old lady". She is and was so much more than that, actually stole the scenes from Cusick, something I would have thought impossible to do.
Bet he knows it too, and doesn't care :)
