I can see somewhat of a connection with that character although the idea behind Vanilla Sky was that they were controlling their own destiny (by dying and entering the lucid dream) whereas Desmond's jewelry store clerk seemed to suggest that Des's fate was sealed. But both posed interesting storylines (the jumps between reality and fantasy were hard to determine in both instances - was Des reliving his past, or was he seeing the future in his past, but a version that was not supposed to occur? Boggles the mind...) OnionSandwich 02-15-2007, 02:05 AM If they are all already dead and frozen or something I will be so mad. Hildy 02-15-2007, 07:42 AM Not seen this episode yet so can’t really comment, but there have been tons of references to Vanilla Sky on Lost already which I outlined in another thread:- http://www.thefuselage.com/Threaded/showthread.php?t=67286 whispervixen 02-15-2007, 08:39 AM Not seen this episode yet so can’t really comment, but there have been tons of references to Vanilla Sky on Lost already which I outlined in another thread:- http://www.thefuselage.com/Threaded/showthread.php?t=67286 Cool, thanks.
