Can someone please tell me if you hear what sounds like a baby crying in the background?

The scene I heard it in is during the visit to Jack (still in the cage) from Juliet AFTER she has been marked. He tells her that they are going to make sure Ben keeps his promise to get them both off the island and when she asks "How are we going to do that?" Jack replies, "Together."

Juliet is silent and looks forward for a moment, during that time you can hear jungle sounds, then she looks upward and you hear what sounds distinctively like a baby crying in the background. It even drowns out the jungle sounds.

I missed this... Anyone else catch it?

i just re-watched that scene about three times and didn't hear anything except birds....can you tell me how many seconds it is after Jack says "together"?

I rewinded my TIVO just to make sure.

And I swear it is a baby crying.


That or the blasted Hurley bird.

I heard it too - it's very quiet, and after re-listening, I think it's just supposed to be a bird.

It's right at the end of the scene where Jack puts Aloe on Juliet's wound -

Juliet: "and how are we going to do that"
Jack: "together"
[Juliet looks up]

on the close up of Juliet looking up, after the crescendo in the music, you can hear a feint "mama" or "waaha" sound, that sounds abit like a baby.

There are three shorter noises just before the main cry, which makes me think it was just a bird call though.

The main call is about 7 seconds after Jack says 'together'.

You know, I think I heard it too, but I thought it was just my sister's baby.

I didn't hear anything, I might have to go back in check.

I do remember hearing a lot of wierd bear like noises though. :) haha

I heard it too. I just rewatched on my tivo to be sure.
