View Full Version : Randy ms_mj 03-01-2007, 12:36 AM Randy also worked with Locke. Amber 03-01-2007, 12:54 AM Yes, I remember him hehehe. So he didn't die while inside the Chicken Shack? Because he was Locke's boss later on down the road right? RodimusBen 03-01-2007, 01:01 AM Yeah... Guess that means he worked his way back up to middle management. I have the feeling we will see him again. Save The Humans 03-01-2007, 01:03 AM That was a timeline faux pas. If Randy was still at Mr. Cluck's, and Hurley left for Australia a day or two later, when was there time for Randy to go to work as a supervisor at the box company? Don't the continuity people on this show pay ANY attention to detail any more?! ms_mj 03-01-2007, 01:05 AM That was a timeline faux pas. Don't the continuity people on this show pay ANY attention to detail any more?! that randy must have quite a resume to get a fancy new job so quickly ;) johnnywishbone 03-01-2007, 01:07 AM well his name was Randy Nations so maybe he's related to peeps in high places  ame en peine 03-01-2007, 01:14 AM That was a timeline faux pas. If Randy was still at Mr. Cluck's, and Hurley left for Australia a day or two later, when was there time for Randy to go to work as a supervisor at the box company? Could it have been quite a time before that STH? Hurley did mention that someone jumped out of the window at the box company.. So maybe this is the most recent Randy visit in the timeline.. silveranswer 03-01-2007, 01:26 AM Well, we know that Hurley owned a box company, so I think he probably set Randy up with the job. that did happen WAY too quick though. . . also- how did Randy get back into Hurley's good graces? The guy was a total jerk to Hurley. Kevonski 03-01-2007, 12:42 PM Hurley is a forgiving soul. I think people are making much ado about nothing concerning the timeline for Randy. I am not bothered at all by it. In fact, it makes a world of sense to me. The show starts to get good again and a handful of people want to try to point out a screwup by the writers, when it really isnt a screwup at all. Trust the writers, they know whats what. taco lover 03-01-2007, 12:53 PM According to Lostpedia, Hurley felt sorry for Randy after the meteor hit the Chicken Shack and gave him a job at the box company. Don't think too much about timelines or how much time transpired. It's not like the events in Hurley's flashback happened one right after the other. Plus, it could have taken Hurley a long time to find the numbers guy in Australia, giving Randy a bit of time to become a middle-management prick! |
