Hey Christina,

I noticed you were one of the writers who worked on SIASL...an episode that clearly wasn't well received by many Lost fans.

I am in no way insulting you as a writer or trying to be critical or to bring negative energy--you and Liz Sarnoff have actually written some of my favorite episodes, so I know you two can be brilliant, which is why I was so surprised by this one! I had actually been looking forward to learning what the tattoos were about, but to see it was like a weird physical-force relationship that Jack had just didn't make sense to me. It didn't work for me, and evidently based on polls and whatnot, it didn't work for a lot of others.

I guess what I'm asking is...What was your take on SIASL when you were writing it? What were you and the rest of the staff going for with this episode? And why do you think many fans have responded so negatively to it?

Just figured I'd ask...and btw, I definitely am forgiving all of y'all for the episode, especially because I loved this last one with Hurley! :)

Thanks,
catspasms

P.S. And if you don't want to talk about it, I totally get that...but please still reply to this thread anyways just saying "wassup!", because I'd like to see some replies in these forums every once in a while, lol. :)
