I maybe mistaken as so many names go through Lost...so sorry if this has no barring...

When Desmond was in the hatch, pre-crash, he had a guy there that kept going out in a suit with him (the guy Desmond eventually killed by hitting his head on the rock). Before that guy found Desmond he had said that his friend Roger (partner in the Hatch) left one day and never came back. Am I getting this name right!?!? Is Roger the other Hatch member?

I was under the impression that the person in the Hatch with Desmond was Calvin Inman, who was previously manning the hatch with someone named, Kazinski (sp?). Inman ultimately explained to Desmond that the stain on the ceiling of the hatch was Kazinski. However, the story that Inman gave to Desmond at first seems eerily similar to the one that Desmond gave to Locke, Kate, and Jack when they all first met. The story about how Calvin and he pushed the button for three years and then Calvin died and that's it. So maybe Calvin's story about Kazinski was false.

When I first saw the guy with the patch from the monitor in the Pearl station, I was thinking that was Kazinski. I thought this because of Calvin saying that Kazinski was responsible for the map on the blast door in the Swan station, he was the one who figured out how to trigger the lock down manually in the Swan station, and he was the one who editted the training film to keep people from using the computer to communicate with other stations. This all led me to believe that Kazinski wanted out of pushing the button, but didn't want to be found when he left either. I could be wrong about all this, I guess we will find out in the future.

Yeh remember though he also said there was disease rife outside on the island, and he also said Desmond's boat was broke or it got washed away or something. That guy is a heck of a liar man, i have a feeling we'll see this Raznsky guy in the future.

The guys name was Radzinski. And Roger was only the janitor, therefor the car. So he faster could go from destination A to destination B.

Ah now that you mention it, I think you are much closer than I was. Now that I really think about it, it was something like Radzinski.

And yes, that was my point, about the lying. I think the people that end up pushing the button in that hatch, become so caught up with getting out of pushing it, that they are to varying degrees willing to lie to others to accomplish their goal.

I do think we will see Radzinski again, and I still believe it will be when we learn who "patchy" is.
