Seeing that the Losties food from the food drop is beginning to run out made me think about the van a little bit more. Was Roger sent from Othersville to the drop point in the van on a food/beer run? Seems like an odd place for the Others to get their grub.

According to the LOST puzzle "secrets" it was decoded that the Drops happen every 6-8 months. Considering that these are for a few select people, I am sure the food will run out quickly.
