Any significance to Hurley stating "If I'm not back in 3 hours ....."

Ben needing 3 minutes to talk to Juliette as well as many other 3 minute references.

What are some of the others? I know there's more.

I just thought his statement was odd. Why 3 hours? Why not a few hours? Or in a little while? Why so specific?

I'd say it's PROBABLY just a random number. After all the odds aren't that far against it, considering in all of these situations the number they'd pick would be small.

With that said, there was some speculation that there was "another" set of number.

And in the preview for next weeks episode we hear Marvin Candle's voice telling Locke to enter some numbers, one of which was 3.

And if the Lost Experience is to be believed, the entire point of Dharma was to change the valenzetti equation, maybe 3 is one of the new values they are trying to change the numbers too.
