When was the last time Claire did something? And no, nearly drowning doesn't count. That wasn't about her, it was about Desmond.
I'm starting to feel sorry for Emilie De Ravin. Jin's only been in two episodes this season, but he's had a lot to do in each of them. Desmond's only been in the show for ten episodes or so, but he's already had more flashbacks than Claire.
Did Emilie piss off the producers and I just didn't hear about it? I can't figure out why else her character would be virtually ignored for so long. It's a shame. Claire was one of my favourites back in season one.

They have a lot of characters, they can't really do them all justice. Sayid's hasn't really done much this season either, and neither had Charlie until this episode, and in Desmonds.
Though, next week Sayid has a flashback, and the week after is Claire, so I think we can expect to see more of both of them soon.
And Christian Shepard makes an apperance in Claire's flashback, where we apparently figure out who her parents are so... looks like all the people who thought Christian might have been Claire's father will get an answer soon enough.

On a slightly related note, I find her new haircut and color distracting. She looks very different to me. Does it bother anyone else that she looks so different from the last two seasons? And that, nine episodes into season 3, they haven't even touched on the Claire/Charlie kiss of the season 2 finale?
Agreed - Claire was an awesome character in season 1, comparatively had so much going on around her and got scenes and stories with many other characters despite having only 1 episode that solely centered on her.
Her story has definitely been the most neglected of all the original losties ever since season 2. I don't know if I'll live to see the season of "Lost" where Claire might get 2 centric episodes - she definitely needs some time to shine :( Instead we'll get 2 - 3 Jackbacks revolving around him losing his car keys - blaming his father for it and crying when he finds them in his pocket.
I used to love all the characters - and I totally get that there are times in the whole overarching show's arc when it is necessary to let's say focus on the tailies or others for 8 or so episodes straight to deliver their story - but in a chess game that such an ensemble cast show is - you can't leave any piece (character) without anything to do, so I hope that Claire, along with other characters will have some things going on no matter whether it's their flashback episode or not.
In that case, why hasn't Aaron done anything? I bet the actor playing Aaron is getting pissed with his air time. They haven't even given him any lines!
Quite frankly, I don't care about what Claire does. Or Charlie. Unless it's dying.

Im kinda upset myself over that...obviously Lost has taken the last two episodes to fill in some space before some big stuff happens...so why havent they gone with the charlie/claire thing. I mean he is going to die soon..I WANA SEE WAT HAPPENS!

Its not Claire's fault its the writers. If they can come up with completly rubbish flashbacks for Jack they can come up with a few lines for Claire. Its like they are completly neglecting her. Notice how every scene with her and Charlie the camera focuses on Charlie and she's in the periphery. Nothing against Charlie.

Desmond claimed so. We don't know for sure.
