I'm so glad we are finally seeing this meeting. There has been spec about them knowing each other ever since TLC. That maybe Cassidy is the letter writer from BTR. That Cass taught Kate how to con (which is becoming apparent from this episode).

To be fair, if kate hadnt gone on the rescue Jack campaign, Locke wouldnt have tagged along... and the sub wouldnt have been destroyed, and as such, jack would have been gone.

I think that Juliet is referring to Kate rounding up the group and going back for Jack. If she had respected Jack's request not to go back, then Locke wouldn't have been there.

I am with you Jack is an idot! OR he is now working with the Others and more than willing to pretend to have been left behind and to take Juliet back with him!

As for Sawyer - well I think that getting Sun to forgive him will give him ultimate closure and make him forgiven for all his past sins - thus dooming him to death on the island but atleast he will have made ammends!
