any of the others know alot about the Losties somehow. I think that is an attempt to make us believe it was a setup

I mentioned this in another thread but I believe it was another example of the tremedous amount of research that Ben and company have done since the crash or the amount of information that was given to them before the plane crashed. I have a feeling that if they were watching them in their pre-island life then they would have tried to show us that already...i could be wrong but i think this is another perfect example of how scary the others are at conning people...

I still think either could be the case.

"Fleeting memory" sounds much more mystical than "I remember seeing you in our research files."

Can anyone advise exactly what Bakunin said to Locke right before the "para" remark? I found his pronunciation hard to understand. Was it "I seem to have a fleeting memory of you"??

Based on what we saw in the previews for this coming week, I'd say Locke will be getting a lot of answers pretty soon. Who knows if that's gonna be one of them, though.

i believe at one point when Mikhael was saying everyone's name, when he came to locke he said "the john Locke I know" right away I thought of the philosopher.Maybe he read a book about him or something!! since I don't think there is any way that they really know each other. I know that the others know everything there is to know about the survivors. Perhaps he was on his way to saying something else, but didn't get a chance. Guess we'll never know now huh? After his disgusting death!

The only thing that I'm trying to wrap my head around is which list is being referenced. We know we have at least three lists that have been referenced too and they are becoming as big a mystery as the smoke monster or the numbers.

I'm pretty sure one explanation for a list is a flight manifest the Others got after the found out the flight number and all.

If they have contact with the outside world and resources and whatever, they'd be able to get names and background info on all the passengers pretty quickly.

I assumed that he meant "Jacob's List" because after that, Locke asked about Ben, and Mikeal seemed to indicate that Ben was not the keeper of the List. Of course, I don't know what Jacob's List is, but that is the first thing I thought of when the conversation occured.

He was cut off by Danielle herself. I can't figure out what's more interesting, that Danielle cut Mikhail off just as he was about to reveal Locke as a paraplegic, or Locke throwing him into the fence not that long after.

Normally, I'd buy Locke's "Pardon me" excuse. But the C4 shows he has some ulterior motive going on, so I wouldn't be surprised if that extended to Mikhail after the near confession.
