I did like the letter though, even if no one ever finds it.

Although they didn't know the exact location of their island, it bothered me that they didn't try to put info regarding the Dharma Initiative, or Hanso into their message. It may not have helped, but it might have been a lead to follow and investigate from the outside world if their message is ever received.

However, what exactly does Claire know? How many Losties actually know about the Dharma Initiative and Hanso? Did they all get to see the Pearl tape? Locke, Jack and the other leaders are pretty secretive about keeping information to themselves.
