Oh my, when we heard the spoilers for this, we were seriously wondering why Claire's plan would be dangerous for Charlie. Turns out seagull hunting can be quite deadly! Desmond's going to have his work cut out for him, if little things like this can lead to Charlie's death.

I didn't see anything wrong with it - people do slip on rocks; it's not that rare.

I was glad that Desmond told Claire. I felt bad that Charlie was keeping it from her I thought he should have told her from the beginning. I'm also glad that Claire realized that each time he "died" it was in protecting her, rescuing her or doing something for her.

True PJ. I hope Claire doesn't start distancing herself from him, as a means of protecting him. Although, it would be nice to see her return the favor.

It doesn't sound like she will since she promised they'd get through it together. If anything, I thought Charlie would distance himself to protect her but that hasn't happened.

Well, based on her words at the end of this episode, she is going to be there for him and they are going to get through this together. Yay! So much better than them distancing themselves from each other.
At least if Charlie does die, he'll have died happily knowing that he was with Claire in a functioning relationship.
(Slipping on the rocks was a bit silly, I agree, Jenny.)

Seems like Charlie should distance himself from Claire.. Every time he tries to help her, he almost dies it seems...

Me, too, and I'm glad Claire didn't wait on this - she wanted to find out and she did. She was very proactive tonight - love seeing that.

I agree it was nice seeing proactive Claire. Its nice to see her taking a more active role in the C/C relationship.

Seeing as everything else on this island kills, it doesn't suprise me that Death by Seagull is possible.
