I loved the scene with Charlie and Claire setting the bird free. That moment brought back the image of the bird in Charlie's dream/hallucination/premonition in Fire + Water. Anyone else think they are connected? I think Charlie's dream meant more than Aaron needing to be Baptized. I know in the painting it was a dove, but I don't think it was in the dream. Will the bird be the key to saving them all?

I loved it too!

I thought of the single bird we saw flying out of (or over) Otherville, when we first saw Otherville.

And then, the very next scene after Claire released the bird, and it flew away with a flock of other birds, Kate saw a flock of birds fly over their position in the jungle, followed by Sayid telling her "we're here" (Otherville).

I don't know about Charlie's dream bird, but your last statement

Will the bird be the key to saving them all?

coincides with what I thought of when I first saw the lone bird over Otherville...that it represented hope.
