Just looking at the blast door map and it seems to be that the town was Cv1 it is a small box south of the flame (i think that they went south) and it seem's that it's west of the Swan on the map it has four different locations with Cv1,2,3,4 in box's. i think the box's represent the wall (thing that killed patchy). also sayid was going back towards the river where Danielle said she would wait for them and it appeard that they continued going straight and after they crossed the river (which also is on the map) they walked not too far and found the wall so basicaly the CV's are stations are where they do there perfect towns as said they do study Utophian Social Engineering on the island and that is a perfect society aka not being attacked from unwanted things.

I'm not entirely sure the Barracks are on the hatch map.

And they went north TO The Flame, so if they went south from it, they'd be going back the way they came.

Wherever the town is, it is probably south of the beach where the losties are at. Those birds flew straight from over the beach to the town and Claire mentioned that birds fly south.. What would be really weird is if the birds were going TO the town, meaning they were released by the others as some sort of test. Probably not.

The Barracks is noted on the Blast Door Map as "C3". It's not actually a station but the mapmaker presumed it was.

Cerberus Vents ...it's probably related to the Monsters and "exit points". Remember Locke being dragged to a hole in the S1 finale? That might of been one.

"Cerberus Vents" is what the blast door map said "CV" stands for. People have been theorizing that "cerberus" is the smoke monster, so maybe the CVs are the origin points for Smokey? As of now, it's all speculation though.
