philippe_m 03-15-2007, 03:47 AM I noticed that, in that last scene, Jack's arm has blood on it, or some sort of tattoo that is rather new.
Check the episode, when he does the touchdown. he definetly has something on his arm.
This could mean that he was drugged or something was holding his arms tight (like that setup that was used on carl to keep him still in his chair and brainwash him).
I don't know how to post a picture of this here, so maybe someone can do it for me.

Billy Shears 03-15-2007, 03:54 AM You're right, he's got a tattoo on the inside of his left forearm running up his bicep. I think I made out a rose, or heart and some leaves. Did he have this before?

What's with the new tattoo on Jack's forearm? Did he get inked by the others?
I know Matthew Fox has more art than just the chinese characters/#5 tat, but they are covered up for the show. - So is this just a production error, or does it mean something...?
My guess is they just forgot to cover it, maybe cause of the re-shoot due to the airport mix up, but you never know.

or maybe that's not him (eventhough i'm not a fan of the clone theory at all).
but there's obviously something on his hand.
My take is that he's been drugged or, as I said before, his hands are injured because of him being strapped to a chair with some rope or whatever....
We'll see next week.

obviously I know about that tatoo, but what I see is on the inside of his forearm. not on the outside and it's colorful. It's not necessarily a tattoo.

I have it on freeze frame right now and it goes on the inside of his left arm at the elbow. It looks like a big red heart and other characters around it.

The OP is referring to some of the canisters of film being ruined by airport x-ray scanners. They had to reshoot part of one episode, but I believe Gregg has said it was ep. 13, not 12 that was reshot.

That does indeed look like it's the same or similar to the one in the previously posted screencap, but I'd swear that it's creeped up a few inches!

segale2001 03-15-2007, 09:40 PM I think that the only Tat in the show we know of is the one on his shoulder. We would have known about this new or old one.. I would think for certain that the producers are NOT going to goof and allow a real life tat to be shown. It is all for the story.
this is not jack....
If claire can be his sister, we have no knowledge of jack being or not being a twin!
Jack could be a twin.

In one pic the tatoo, under his left arm is of stars,....then, in the screen cap from Par Avion, where he throwing the football, that tat is absolutely not of stars. It looks like a red rose, or a heart, with green vines.
Either the continuity expert goofed, or Jack is a double,...a twin.

It looks to be the same tattoo. The dark blue star is clearly visable at the top of the tattoo. Arm is flexed when throwing the football and also blured because if motion.
