did anyone notice that several of the others seen in the background when jack is playing football have backpacks on. like students on their way to class. there was also a children's swing set, and it looked old, not like they just put it up for the kids they recently stole.

yea i noticed that too. i got the feeling that it seemed like a campus.

There's a kind of Stepford feel to the Others' barracks and I do wonder how long it's been there, esp if the Others are not Dharma.

Apparently, it's just another ordinary day in paradise. :)

Here's a picture that shows 2 swing sets - one on the right and a long one on the left. It does seem that there were children living there at one time.
