I think they are all "emotional cripples" except John Locke..........I think he has a memory block. I'm thinking he might just be an other but doesn't know it.:confused:

Well, Kate, Sawyer & Jack were on Klugh's list... but maybe that's a different list.... Yeah, they're all flawed (which is what makes them interesting). It's a little far fetched that the 9 on the Tailies list were the only "good" ones from the plane. Ben said he was coming for Locke, but then nothing came of it (so far).

This doesn't seem likely. I think the whole "Lostie as Other" is part of the past-- with Ethan being dead. It is time to discover some new island secrets.. :)

I think Ben was manipulating Locke at that time and he said that on purpose but it wasn't true.

No way Locke is an other.

I really think this is a big scam the Others pull on people they have just met.

"Ok first we tell them we don't want them, an in doing so it makes them want to find us and join us even more!!"

Locke was searching for "family" at one point. Perhaps he tried to join Dharma but was passed over because he was paralyzed. Maybe that is how Mikhail knew him. And perhaps that is why Ben knew how it happened.

All of the main characters we have gotten to know, so far, have been deeply flawed- all kinds of personal demons. It could be that the people abducted from the tail section really were good people. And there are probably a lot of good people in the Fuselage that we don't know (Nikki and Paolo, perhaps?) They didn't get abducted because... Ethan never finished his list, or the monster prevented the abduction, or some other reason we don't know about yet...

We have seen some of the Flight 815 survivors during the "Stranger in a Strange Land" episode when Jack was in the cage at the Hydra station and some of the survivors came over and were watching him. So we know that Cindy the Mighty Stewardess was one of them. If there is some "magic list", then Cindy is probably on it. Remember Cindy from the Pilot episode? She's the one who intuited that Charlie had a problem on the plane, and had gone back to get a couple of male flight attendants to help her in confronting Charlie. He saw them coming down the aisle of the plane for him and made an escape to a forward restroom, which is why he survived. Anyway, from that little scene I would guess that Cindy might be a little psychically sensitive or something like that. Maybe...

So maybe Patch thought Ethan and the Picketts were not flawed? :biggrin:
