There has been a lot of talk on here today, and rightfully so, about all of the lists that have been referenced in the show. Just to try and make it clear for us all, I have put together what I think is the complete list of lists.
If there is anything I am missing just let me know and I will edit it in.
Jacob's List (The Master List)
Confirmed persons on list:
The children that were taken.
Aaron
WaltConfirmed to not be on the list:
Shepard (using the name as indicated by Pickett)
Kate
Sawyer
SayidDisputed status people on the list:
Claire - they did take her but it was probably just for Aaron
Locke - Ben was probably lying to him but he did say Locke was special
Cindy - she was actually taken but there hasn't been a reference to the listEthan/Goodwin's Lists (as assigned by Ben)
We didn't see Ethan's but I believe we did see Goodwin's list. If anybody knows who was on Goodwin's I'll add them here.
Is it safe to assume that Ben wanted these lists for Jacob?Ben's List (as given to Michael)

HurleyI think that's it. I also noticed online that there was some confusion regarding the purpose of the lists. The true purpose of Jacob's is the key to the show but Ben's list seemed to be confusing to some people. IMO Ben's list was only created to force Jack into conducting the surgery and send a warning (via Hurley) to the Losties. That is why Pickett seemed annoyed that Jack was there because he wasn't on Jacob's list.
