80 days on the island- wouldnt there at least be some mistletoe hanging off the shelters by now?
80 days on the island, Christmas there would be less than 2 weeks away, so my crackpot theory is there will be a sentimental Christmas episode before the season finale.
Seeing as they have been opn the island 80 days, it would be really close to December 25th by now. I'm thinking Christmas or some holiday mention will have to show up in an episode this season if the writers want to maintain credibility.

I predicted a long time ago that someone will celebrate a birthday or we'd see a holiday. Maybe we'll see a "Hey, isn't today Christmas?" instead of them actually celebrating.

I figured 80 days from the crash and it was the 11th of December when the bird was released - exactly two weeks before Christmas. I wonder, too, if the Losties will remember it in any way? I hope the writers don't drop the ball on this. Also, I believe that there's an Islamic holiday near Christmas as well - Ramadan (sic) or something like that. It would be nice to see the different religions observe a special day to thank God they are alive and relatively well. I know some who watch the show don't like the religious overtones but it seems there are as many or more who do. I was glad someone else besides me is wondering about this. :)

I don't even know what day it is half of the time and I have calendars and computers to tell me!
