I really think these 2 guys are trying to outwit each other.
Locke is better at these games than Ben is, yet I feel these guys have a connection to one another.
They need one another.

Thsi island gave John Locke the ability to take over for Ben...once he lost his leadership?

I agree ben is much better even the way he frased his answer to jack "I will let them go as soon as you leave"

I think that Locke is better but because Ben "knew someting" that Locke would have no idea bout.....he was outwitted..He lost this battle but will win the war...

yeah,Locke's got in stock a lot of stuff we havent even imagined yet.hes not stupid.he knew Ben wanted him to blow off the submarine and judgine from the clues,i really dont think thats what he eventually did!;)
