I'm sure there will be another thread (separate from this one, pretty please!) about Jack and Kate's interactions, but who else adored Jack and Juliet's cuteness together? They were so happy to be leaving the island together, and seemed so comfortable in each others' presences.

Oh, and paging Jacket fan penyours, I MUST know what they were saying when they were standing outside of Jack's house.

OMG I was wondering the exact same thing. They were having interactions but you couldn't hear it. I wanted more Jacket scenes.

Yes, I really want to know what is going on with them. They obviously have a connection, but Juliet knows there is a Jate connection too, right? It was so weird when she came into the room when Jate were sharing their moment. Holy awkward.....
They are cute. I am rooting for them. It's all just really weird, though.

I was hoping they were going to walk in the house together, but Juliet left. I would also like to hear what they were talking about. Also, if Locke didn't blow up the sub and Jack and Juliet actually got to leave, I wonder if they would go their separate ways or if they would stay together.

The Jacket scenes were the only things this epi that made me jump up and down, I kept hoping we would see Jack and Juliet go inside a house together - that they were living together :D Oh well.

It is going to be weird if Kate is held captive in otherville and Jack is spending time with Juliet, hmmm.

And yup I asked Gumpy5 for the audio so hopefully we'll know soon what they said to each other.

Oh I so desperately wanted Juliet to walk in the house with Jack...esp cause Kate was watching

I want to know why they are so tight so suddenly. They were certainly very giggly together.

I think they always had chemistry from day one. Plus they thought they were going home soon so they were excited about that. Maybe they were planning their lives together off island.

In a possible post-island scenario, Kate is not adequate for Jack. She's a fugitive, and he isn't the kind to live on the run (spine surgeons are rarely anonymous...). Now, Juliet... yes, I can see it.

I thought they had good chemisty also, but then there's Kate too.. and I don't have any idea if Juliet is really a good guy or not.

Umm, hello? Juliet is an Other, an arrogant kind with no redeeming virtues to speak of.

Say what you want about Kate, but at least she isn't in the business of kidnapping children and killing innocent people.

are you saying you want another thread or you don't want this one to turn into a Kate/Jack convo? Cause I didn't like the scene between Kate and Jack..esp when he said he would come back for her. I'm still not over the whole sleeping with Sawyer thing. He needs Juliet. Plain and simple.

I can say with full confidence that Juliet is NOT a guy.

The only thing that really disappointed me this episode was Juliet. Its like her entire point was to hang on Jack's arm and give Kate an excuse to mug for the camera. I hope she gets something a little more meaty next time around.

I really liked Jack and Juliette together. I kept waiting for him to kiss her or something. I totally believe these two together. And I didn't feel sorry for Kate. I don't mind Jack and Kate together, but you snooze you lose, honey. These two make sense in the "real world" and that is my method of supporting on-island relationships.

I believe Juliet, is still out for herself, and will do whatever it takes to get what she wants, is a character device to get Kate jealous and to interrupt/keep apart Jack and Kate.

Of the Jack and Juliet interaction, I wouldn't describe it as cute, but mostly a plot device for the Jack and Kate storyline. Juliet touched Jack's arm. Camera moves to Kate looking jealous/concerned in the jungle. Sayid notices Kate's look. Juliet takes Jack to see Ben. Jack and Juliet laugh and say goodnight outside his hut. Again, Kate is watching through the binoculars.

Juliet interrupts when Jackandkatesfaceswerethisclose. She was definitely listening in on that convo. And Juliet seemed none to happy with the Jack Kate situation.

I expect it will be Juliet that spills the beans to Kate that Jack saw the monitors in I Do.

They do have chemistry but I'm not sure how well they trust each other. I still feel like Juliet is using Jack to get off the island. After all he's been through, Jack seems a bit too comfy with the Others, yet I'm sure a lot of it is just an act. "I'm not 'with' anyone," he said. He's probably just playing nice so he can get the heck off the island. Juliet is another person to fix. He feels sorry for her. Maybe in time something genuine can grow between them.

Juliet and Jack - definitely more believable long-term. I agree Juliet's a way to end the Jack + Kate thing. But, I really hope the triangle of Jack, Sawyer, and Kate doesn't start-up again. Jack and Kate can have a mutual respect w/out the triangle. "Juliet and Jack are cute" - tru dat! Sometimes Jack seems like he doesn't fully trust Juliet.

I just meant: I know sometimes when we are discussing a favorite couple, we can get into disagreements about who should be with who. :) I was hoping to talk about Jack and Juliet's scenes together without debating too much if Jack should be with Juliet or Kate. But obviously, people can post whatever they want to post.

I personally don't see Juliet just as a device to keep Jack and Kate apart, but I can see why people read last night's scenes with the three of them that way. But, I guess from my POV, Jack and Juliet didn't know Kate was there when Kate was in the bushes watching them. So what was going on, just between the two of them?

I don't trust Juliet either, for the record. But that doesn't mean she can't be my favorite character, or that she can't have chemistry with one of the "good guys."

Yeah I thought there would be a separate thread to discuss Jack and Kate while this one would focus on Jack and Juliet.

Anyways, it will be interesting to see how this plays out. Juliet and Jack are definitely much more comfortable around each other right now and I am curious if we will ever find out what happened in Jack's first few days in Otherville. Did Jack and Juliet talk about what they would do once they were off the island? was juliet going to help Jack rescue the Losties? Would they both work at the same hospital?

Well, Jack would presumably be able to go back to St. Sebastian's in LA. I don't know that Juliet would go back to her place in Miami - it would depend on what happened to her sister, I suppose.

I think they do get along well, but I just haven't really warmed up to Juliet yet. I don't hate her or anything, but I miss the closeness between Jack and Kate.

Yeah I was thinking that Jack would get St Sebastian to hire Juliet and that she would bring her sister to LA. Since Jack is pretty established at that hospital, and Juliet's main tie to Miami was her deceased husband. Of course this would all happen after they team up with Penny and rescue all of the Losties!!

Well I was amazed at first to learn that Jack was actually leaving, but I knew he couldn't leave. He's Jack. But it would be cool. They could come back and be the heroes. Just wait until you saw Kate's face when they pulled up. that would be priceless!

That's way too harsh, Juliette doesn't fit in with the Others and has been wanting to leave the island for a while. Sure she reluctantly tried to help break Jack, but then she also set her own agenda in motion by letting Jack see Ben's spinal x-rays and encouraging him to kill Ben during surgery. Plus she killed an Other (Pickett) to save Kate and Sawyer so she could get off the island. So no Juliette is not a true Other.

Also, I keep thinking about Juliette getting ready for the book club meeting in Tale of Two Cities. When she puts the CD in and "Downtown" starts playing, for a moment she has a pained look on her face but she kind of bobs her head to the music and starts psyching herself up to play a happy hostess. I really found that subtle and very touching.

Hey Jacket, Jack and Juliet fans,

here's is a partial transcript for this scene that covers what juliet said to Jack when he was on the football field.

I dunno - I think I'd have to agree with Chad_of_Neptune. Think back to Not In Portland when Juliet is barking orders to an Other to get Danny and find Kate and Sawyer, and if they have to KILL THEM! She looks right at Jack when she says this without batting an eyelash. It isn't until Ben speaks to her privately and promises to let her go home if she helps Kate and Sawyer, that she changes her tune. She kills Danny for her own good, not the Losties. She's just one rung up from the bottom of the cesspool ladder, imo. I reserve the bottom rung for Ben.

It's too soon to say I think, they have their own agendas. Ben specifically choose Juliet to BREAK Jack and Jacks doing a pretty good job of being broken, it's almost like they are playing by the rules for now. Will Jack play footsie with Juliet when he finds out she held a gun to Kate ?
Yes it was cute, but not real.
