This was my favorite! I loved Em delivery of it too. But, like others have mentioned Locke had some good ones too.

Mine was when the cops were interviewing Locke in the parking lot outside of his apartment.

Cop: "Peter Talbot is worth 200 million dollars. So exactly what was he trying to sell by soliciting door to door?"

Locke: blank look on his face... doh.

The line about the code was hilarious.

I also liked the homage to the "Got any milk?" line from last year with Locke's line "Got anything to eat?". Not as brilliant as the milk line, but nice throwback to show how Locke was now in charge (or so he thought....)

Handsdown the hamsters line. Now THAT's a fandom shoutout (the Hurley making salad one was annoying, imo). :biggrin:

There were so many gems in this episode, but for me it was definitely the giant hamsters. Michael Emerson's delivery was excellent... so dry. He totally stole the show. :grin:

Too many funny lines for me to single one out. This is where Lost comedy really works for me--during tense situations. I highly prefer these type of lines over the more cutesy lines delivered in the absence of tension. Nice, tight writing instead of throwing out Sawyerism after Sawyerism, hoping some of them work.

My favorite was when he said (I forgot the exact words) something along the lines of "Well,I hope there is enough room int he box to imagine you and the submarine"..lol

"You survived an eight-storey fall. Don't tell me what you can't do." I'm surprised nobody mentioned this re: Locke. I loved it. Those two were my emotional heighlight scenes of the season.

The hamster line was my favorite, but I feel that Kate's "Hi" should be mentioned. Probably one of the best utterances of a single word this season, alongside Ben's "...Okay" (ATOTC, in response to Jack threatening Juliet's life) and Hurley's drunken "DUDE" (FBYE, said when Charlie gets his *** kicked by Desmond).

I think Ben's line about the hamsters was hilarious.

Not sure of the exact wording but when Ben opened up the door where they were keeping Locke handcuffed, Ben said something along the lines of "well, you've really done it now haven't you"
Made me chuckle.

Might be because Locke's "don't tell me what I can't do" is one of my all time favorites, and I think that he adopted that line from his physical therapist.

i don't remember the word but when locke had the gun to ben's face and Locke was like "now, don't do anything stupid" and ben's first word to locke is just like "ok"

There were just too many for me to pick a favorite. Some of them seemed like shout outs to the fans. And not one of them from Sawyer or Hurley...go figure.

That is a man who has been beaten down by the world! And in his typical Locke naivety, he thinks a sign is going to protect him from those who find him "amenable to coercion."

Locke to Jack: "Sorry, Jack..." <BOOM> pan to Jack's face.....

It was a polite way to say "Go screw, pal!" I don't think he meant that he thought the sign would protect him. He just didn't want to be bothered. Who can blame him?

I liked "AHHHHHH!!!!" when Locke was falling out of the building.

All of these are good lines, but my favorite was when Ben said something about "breaking you back must have stung a little".

Seriously, I thought "I felt my back break" was pretty good. It was really empathetic.

Oh, yes, many great lines, but my favourite... my favourite was when Jack and Juliet show up at Ben's place. Jack starts saying:

JACK: Look, I know you don't owe me anything, but I need to ask you for one last favour.

(pause)

(BEN closes the fridge and turns)

Yes I loved that line too! I rewatched it today and I don't think I picked up on it until today and it made me laugh. We need more episodes with Ben and his sarcasm. He was priceless delivering his lines.

Come on ladies: "I'll come back here for you" has to have made more of us turn to mush... I thought I was a Skater until that moment.
