I totally agree. Lots of people seem to think Locke is jacking up the plan by blowing up the Flame and having his own agenda, but that's why I fell in love with him in season one. He went against the grain and could honestly care less what the other survivors thought of his actions.

The others have been playing dirty from the get-go, I'm just glad to see at least one of the losties has finally wised up to this AND is actually doing something about it.

The hell with Jack, he'll just have to postpone his honeymoon; there are more serious matters to prioritize.

You can't be on his team. Indeed, it's not even safe to be around the guy. You just hope that your enemy is his enemy. Whose agenda is he carrying out? His own? The island's? Who cares? The Season 3 Locke is the Season 1 Locke on steroids.

I'm just glad to see Terry O'Quinn get some of the richest material on Lost at this point. He delivers in every scene. Where Locke is headed, I do not know. In the end, will we judge Locke as good or bad? No idea. But watching his journey is one of the most satisfying aspects of Lost.

First, I have to say the thread title has to be one of the best ones in a long time, in my opinion.

Well, they still have the boat they came over from Hydra Island in. And Desmond's stolen sailboat. We've seen no evidence of it anywhere yet, but I would not be surprised to see the Losties discover a landing strip on the far side of the island at some point.

While I don't disagree with the sentiments expressed herein, I'm not 100% convinced that he did blow up the sub (see Locke coming down the dock soaking wet).

Either way though, I think he's one of the, if not the, most interesting characters on the show.

Couldn't agree more, ive been a Locke fan since the beginning and he is still the only one who realizes there are more important things going on then getting home.

I totally agree that FINALLY, the Locke from season 1 is back with a vengence! I love the crazy "act first, ask questions later" Locke. He's, by far, the best and most interesting character on the show. I am hoping that he has a trick up his sleeve and that he only MADE Ben and the others THINK they he blew up the sub.

Can you imagine what the Others (except Ben) must think of Locke.

Jack says "What are you doing here, John?"
Locke - "I'm sorry Jack"
Jack - "Sorry for what"

The look on Juliet's and Tom's faces was priceless!! Like they were thinking "Who is this crazy guy and how did he get past us and manage to find the submarine??"

ben doesn't want people leaving the island. he says they "want to be here, they just don't know it" or something like that, also the sub provided the illusion they could come and go as they pleased with it gone that illusion is also gone, now there will be trouble in new otherton. "political unrest" if you will
