Charlie tells Sun the truth about her kidnapping. Paulo and Nikki are both bitten by a spider, and paralyzed for 8 hours. The flashbacks reveal more info on prior events, and helps to tie up some loose ends. Paulo and Nikki are buried alive!

Ben and Juliet are in the Pearl watching Jack in the Swan...how did they (including Paulo) get in the pearl if, at this point, the plane is covering the hatch to the pearl?!?!

I really liked it! It shows so much about paulo and nikki... but what's up with the end? do they die or not???? no preview!!! and where was teh scene with the quarantine thing?

Actually they watched jack in the hatch ergo the plane was down and boone dead... that being said paulo pushed the plane a bit and got in? And the others found the plane already pushed.

The plane fell in season 1 before the hatch was opened. While Ben and Juliet were inside the Pearl, they were watching Jack inside the Swan, so the plane had already fell. If this was before Echo and Locke moved the plane, then HOW DID THEY ALL GET IN THERE?

Even if Juliet and Ben have a different way in, when they were inside, Paulo was inside (hiding his diamonds in the bathroom). At this point, we know that Jack is inside the Swan (we see him on the tv screen), so therefore we know that the plane has fallen down.

We dont know when the drug plane crashed into the trees. It could have been before or after Oceanic 815 crashed on the island. The drug plane didnt fall to the ground until after this episode's time line because Boone was in it when if fell, but, in this episode, Boone was still on the beach.

We do know ROUGHLY when it crashed - we saw it take off from Nigeria ( via Eko's fb), and the fact that the bodies were decomposing gives us a general timeline.

No.... we know the timeframe because of seeing Jack on the the television screen inside the SWAN. Jack entered the Swan for the first time in season 2, AFTER Boone fell with the plane.

Since Paulo already knew where the Pearl was, he moved the plane when he returned. Then Ben and Juliet arrived. When Paulo left, he probably recovered the Pearl since he was hiding his loot there and didnt' want anyone else to find it.

I enjoyed this episode quite a bit more than I expected. However... I still don't see what was the point of having Paulo and Nikki in the first place, unless they just wanted an excuse to have a "redshirts POV" episode.

LOVED the fact that Charlie confessed! As much as I love Charlie, I had expected that he would keep that fact very much hidden until/unless it came out some other way.

OK, first...this episode jumps around a bit to help explain Paulo and Nikki's story before the crash and to the point where we are now in season 3.

When Paulo is inside the bathroom of the Pearl, we are given a clue as to the rough timeline because we see Ben and Juliet watching the television image of Jack who is shown INSIDE THE SWAN. The first time Jack entered the Swan was at the beginning of Season 2. Boone and the plane fell down in Season 1, before any of the losties were inside the Swan/hatch. So that means that the plane has already fell down.

Which leads to the question as to how Paulo got inside the Pearl if the plane was on top of the hatch.

Thank you Isir, now I am REALLY confused. lol.. OK, so any theories how they got inside the swan. Could Paulo really move that plane all by himself? Didnt it take both locke and Eko together to move it?
