View Full Version : The Cupboards are Getting Bare . . .

I noticed that 9 days ago, in the scene with Desmond in front of the food shelves, that there was a nice stock of Dharms goodies. 12 hours ago, the cupboards were looking a little bare.

I think our Losties will be getting hungry by the end of Season 3, despite the pineapple and fish they can find. That's a much tougher way to feed a beach full of people vs. food that magically falls from the sky!

They survived pretty well before they found the Dharma food so it really shouldn't be a problem. I'm sure they'll panic when they get low because they are spoiled with the Dharma food. If no more food drops occur they'll have to resort to hunting, fishing, and picking fruit off trees. Plus there's always Vincent if they get really desperate. :eek2:

I agree. I see food becoming an issue more sooner than later. (Recall Paulo complaining about someone eating all of the crackers a few epi's ago.)

Jin better get his nets ready.

:eek2: I hope that you mean that Vincent can help them find food! Right? ... RIGHT??! :frown:

Actually, they were Dharma oat bars. ;)

I don't think they'll really make a big deal of the food. The stakes on the show are too elevated now to still be dealing with food issues like they were in season 1.

They can always jump in the VW bus and go on raids of the Others village, Mad Max style.

If the Losties begin to get hungry from lack of renewed supplies, it's quite likely the Others will be getting hungry for the same reason. I smell a confrontation.

(Very last episode: Narrator says ...and eventually everyone ate each other and there was nobody left to tell the tale. We never found out exactly what was going on at Craphole Island. THE END.)

Well, we don't know for sure that the downed communications will stop the food drops, right? Even if the food drops have stopped, there will be enough food to keep them alive. The virtually endless supply of food is fish and fruit. Good hunters and fishermen will be a premium, so I see Jin's and Locke's value increasing tremendously.

It was just a dumb joke, thats all. ;)
