Sawyer poured the diamond's into the grave with Pikki, but I didn't see him drop the pouch in there. If there's some sort of time loop/time travel thing going on on the island, is it possible that this pouch ends up being the pouch with the black and white rocks that "Adam & Eve" had with them in the cave?

It seems like a bit of a stretch, but that is a really great connection. Either way, there is something there that's connecting Palo and Nikki to Adam and Eve. Both Male and Female, died together in the jungle with some sort of pouch of stones.

I wonder how their bodies would get to the caves though. And now Sawyer has the pouch so maybe it's not them in the caves. Plus when Jack emptied the pouch in season one it didn't have diamonds, but pearls I believe. All I can say is I wouldn't want to be holding that pouch for too long. :eek2:

Yeah I know it's a stretch, but I'm always hesitant to think anything's a coincidence on Lost. ;)

I don't know that it matters, but I checked the video from "House of the Rising Sun", and the pouch that the stones came in was larger and made of a greenish brown burlap type material, and the drawstring was a heavy woven type of string.

It is definitely not the same bag, as the diamond bag is smaller and I think made of something like black velvet. Perhaps the time travel theory could be made to account for this, but it is definitely not the same pouch.
