wow this episode sorta blew me away from a technical standpoint. How much of this episode was ReShot? or was any of it Reshot? Did they Re Recreate the crash scene again for this episode ? as we all know the pilot episode was the most expensive tv pilor ever made so im just curious what are your thoughts?

I think that it was all reshot.

Not all of it was. The bit with the man getting sucked in was reused...as were a few other shots.

Obviously they did reshoot part of it (green screen partially?) to include Nikki, Paulo, Artz, and Ethan who hadn't been cast as characters yet.

They wouldn't have reshot the wreckage on the beach just for this piece of cr@p.... That's a waste of money to prove the Nikki and Paulo were there all the time. But to see how they digitally added them into the previous footage was great, a real silver lining to his episode.

Artful green and blue screen effects. Ethan's skin looked a bit off and Boone in his wig other than that it was very well done.

Yeah, lotsa green screen and CGI. It stands out a bit more on big screen HD. Pay attention to the cuts, the large set peices they put them in, while some on the shots shes around much smaller peices of plane debris.

I didn´t love the episode, but i must say that the shooting was really wonderful..

When I saw the crash.. I just went "wow" ..
