Desmond knew the hatch was somehow magnetic ... Is it possible that penny has her men searching for the electromagnetic anomaly because desmond left her a note or clue what to look for when he went back in time? .... and thats how those guys from 'live together die alone' knew what to look for?

That's kind of a neat thought but I don't think Desmond actually time traveled. I think that whole scenario was more like a dream...of course that's just my take. I think that if it were time travel Desmond would have changed his actions towards Penny - therefore changing the future. I don't think time travel is apart of LOST... - I'm pretty sure the writers denounced that but I'd have to check up on all the past podcasts and interviews.

I think she knows what to look for because she knows what was happening - she found out about the experiments & such Hanso Found. was putting on.

What does this have to do with Expose?

My friends and I believe she is a member of the Hanso Foundation and the fact that she might find Desmond is purely coincidental

Don't think I had to spoiler that...but just to be safe. I don't believe in the whole time travel thing per se either. I think he did "time travel"...like you can "travel back in time" through your memories, but not time travel as in the physical sense. A little technicality IMO.

The thing that happened with Des wasn't a dream or time travel. TPTB said that the what we saw happen i.e Des in london with Penny, DID HAPPEN (Like a flashback). So (these are my words>) back then he knew things about the island. And had these "flashes" before the incident with the hatch.

Hmmm I'm not saying it didn't change him. Obviously something happened and his body was affected by it...I'm just saying that he was unconscious possibly during that time and reliving things withing his head...

That's my guess about what the 'time travelling' was all about. Basically it only had a narrow effect on the timeline focussed around Penny/Des, meaning that when he went missing in this altered timeline she talked to his scientist friend (who he had discussed the Island with) and she put her faith in Des not having been crazy when he disclosed this info. Then she paid/bribed a team of scientists to be on the lookout for a magnetic anomoly around the end of 2004. I certainly can't see how his brief time in the past would have resulted in the substitution of Paulo and Nikki for Rose and Bernard or altered the Gregorian Calendar or caused the Flight 815 crash (with all our heroes on board) to happen two days later.
