Loved TPTB's little homage to the 1958 classic movie, The Defiant Ones, which starred Tony Curtis and Sidney Poitier, and not just the handcuffs but Kate's flashback as well. I'm guessing Kate was supposed to be Poitier? lol.

That was the first thing that I thought of too. I wasn't sure how popular that movie was, but I very much felt the same thing. The quick shot of Kate and Juliet hiding in the trees was very much a nod to Jurasic Park too. Or so it felt.

I'm sure Tony Curtis & Sidney Poitier chained together was thought of as sexy by lots of women back when that movie came out too. I get your drift though Islandprincess. It was pleasing to the eyes, especially after they fell into the mud.
