. . .Kate asked Juliet what she did to piss the Others off- wasn't it just a few days ago that Juliet shot a man right in front of Kate and Sawyer so that they could escape? I SO wanted Juliet to point that out to her.

I never thought of that...great catch! I guess Kate assumed Juliet was pretty well-respected in the Others' society and they wouldn't throw her out.

But then, Kate also seems to think that there are circumstances where murder is totally justified, and maybe she thinks what Juliet did is one of those cases. .

If Juliet wanted to bond with Kate I would have thought- "I killed someone to help you" would have been a good start.

I didn't take note of that because as far as Kate was concerned Juliet was there to help them escape per Ben's orders. So Kate would have that that Juliet killing Picket was necessary means to that end. In fact I was surprised that Juliet was supposedly on trial for it. Ben needed Skate to escape so that Jack would comply.

I think Juliet is still an other and this is part of their LONG LIONG LONG CON.
