Did anyone else think that Kate and/or Juliette were going to be shot by the boar hunters Desmond ("The New Locke") and Sawyer, a la Shannon in Season 2? There was rain, there was the monster.... I wonder if we'll learn that there was some kind of connection between what happened to them this episode and what some event at the beach?

I dont think so, I mean Kate & juliet were 2 days away near the New-Otherton village, plus it wasnt raining when sawyer and desmond were boar hunting.
