Is that it? Jack's heart was broken now he loves Juliette? Is there still a possibility that Jack had feelings for Kate? or is Juliette playing mind games with Kate.

Nothings ever done in LOST. Jack and Kate ain over yet. Plus she's not just gonna run back to Sawyer either, she's done with him i think. She said sorry to Jack which to me meant that her and Sawyer was a mistake and she wants him. Jack'll come round.

If she goes back to Sawyer she'll only be with him for the sake of being with someone, and not because she truly loves him. Which would be a waste, i'm sure there are plenty of girls who would love to love Sawyer.

I think Jack definitely still has feelings for Kate but is very hurt by her too. I think the fact that he gave her the cold shoulder a bit is because of her and Sawyer, not because she was part of the reason why he can't go home now. I think that Sawyer and Kate will become closer, but Kate will still be torn between the two of them.

I agree. I think Kate saw something between Juliet and Jack, and now she's going to run back to Sawyer because she feels like she's lost Jack. That's why I think Juliet is on the chopping block, there needs to be a way for Jack and Kate to find each other again. I think that Jack and Kate both have feelings for each other, but Jack feels that Kate chose Sawyer, and now Kate sees that Jack chose Juliet. So they both gave up on each other.

Are ( :D ) Jack and Kate officially done? Who knows? There are several seasons left for that to work itself out.

If Juliet turns out to be using Jack as a way to get into the mix of the Losties for the purposes of the Others, it might swing back the other way. Unless this or something else happens to restore Jack's faith in Kate, they're done.

How many times have I heard that "Jate's over" now? Hmmm. Ah, no. Jack and Kate both love one another and think the other person doesn't reciprocate those feelings. Classic misunderstanding and angst of which countless romances are based. That is why Juliet went out of her way to keep them from talking and why she planted seeds of doubt in Kate. That was the whole purpose of them running around in the jungle. That and for the Losties to be fooled into thinking Juliet had been left behind. Well, she obviously was left behind, but very much on purpose as part of a grander plan.

I agree. Besides, Juliet looks better all muddy IMO.. (sorry I had to)

Really I think the Kate/Sawyer relationship is sooo interesting. In a sense they both really love each other, but Kate has Jack in the back of her mind, and Sawyer can't stop punishing himself... I just think it adds so much to both characters.

They're never going to be done, until one of them says 'Hey, look. We're officially done.'

And even then they probably wont be done.

I would say that they are and I am not a Jate or Skate shipper (I really don't care about this one)...if I were Kate and the first question a guy I liked asked me as he woke up was where another woman was...I be pretty ticked. And that would certainly seal the deal for me, and I am certain I could get the hint. I hope that Kate is smart enough to realize this and quits being a doormat. I sort of wish she wouldn't choose either of them sometimes...maybe go for option C, Sayid or just be by herself.

But this is LOST and the whole J/K/S story line seems to have worked so far so they might keep rehashing it.

Jacket forever, rookies~!

I think Jack is much more suited to Juliet, and Sawyer to Kate. But I do think they will continue to milk the quadrangle.

I'm not a true "shipper" by any means but after watching the last few episodes I can see the writing on the wall. The scene in TMFT with Jack playing the piano and the subsequent, "But I will come back for you," scene had so much romantic tension you could peel it of your tv screen.

While Juliet may have some feelings for Jack, I think she's first and foremost interested in getting her life back. Plus the captive/captor beginning to their relationship and Juliet's creepily intimate knowledge of Jacks past puts a damper on things. Jack's attracted to Juliet because she's essentially a more mysterious version of Sarah. This whole Juliet being "branded" and then left behind smells like another ploy from the Ben Linus department. What did Ben say? "I find out what they're emotionally invested in..." What better way to establish a rapport between Jack and one his people than to make her appear "broken" and in need of help. Jack's hang up is that he needs to fix things and now he's got someone who needs fixing.

Juliet's laundry list of "things she knows about Jack," kind of reminded me why the Jate thing will probably work out in the end. Jack recognized that crashing on the island gave everyone a clean slate, which I think both he and Kate were looking for. The fact that he was willing to overlook her past was a big step in his own process of letting go of his own damaged life. And at the same time Kate is ultimately looking for someone who is willing to forgive the horrible wrong she committed.

And just in case anyone forgot, in the Pilot episode they didn't have Kate wander through the jungle and stitch up a wounded Sawyer, right? I think that scene still informs both of the characters dramatically.

This is the longest "shipper" post I've ever written.

Personally I don't think it will be over until they kill kate off. But maybe that's just wishful thinking :)
Her acting has bored me for a while now.

I forgot that scene...and I have to completely agree, though I don't like it. :frown:

I was frankly annoyed by the scene where Juliet is giving the long list of everything she knows about jack. Kate could have easily replied the things that she knows aobut Jack, such as his ability to lead, his ability to sacrifice himself for the good of others, she knows what it's like to survive a plane crash and build a quasi-civilization with him, last but not least she shoulda said, "I know how he kisses."

I can't stand Kate, but I don't like Juliet much more. Juliet is just far more interesting as a character than a love interest.

That brings up a good point - that was exactly what it was "a laundry list" - straight out of files and what the Others dug up about him. Anyone can say they know all these things about someone if they read a whole folder of files about a person and their life. More proof Juillette is up to no good IMO.

Obviously the answer is no. However, this does set up one long *** soap opera. lol. And i think that now that the characters have gone so many different ways, its just at its last straw. Even for the people who obsess about that triangle to no end.

I'm just dreading all the soap opera games the show is going to play now. They did quite a bit of that this season with the mini-arc and then with Kate going to Otherville. And now all those people are going to be on the same beach. Absorbing all the screentime with their high school games.

It's gonna be lame.

Ah yeh that scene really p!ssed me off as well. Kate could have said so many things then, and it could have been a truly memorable scene. She could have said how Jack kissed like you said, she could have told her his little story from the Pilot. She could have told her what a fantastic doctor he was, that he risks his life for other people, how he swam out to save Boone and that woman. HOW HE REVIVED CHARLIE for christ sake.

Plus that whole kissing thing would have really rubbed it in Juliet's face. Man Kate should really have replied. You think it's too late lol? Like one of those late comebacks that humiliates a person.

In my opinion, it's hard to tell. I mean Kate and Sawyer were hot and heavy until, BAM! They just stopped. After that whole scenario, Jack sort of hates Kate for what she did. I see a total connection between Jack and Juliette, but the Lost writer's have a thing for brining up old problems. So, I don't think we're done with Jack/Kate/Sawyer just yet.
