Why were Kate and Juliette left in the jungle?

It seems to me Juliette hand cuffed herself to Kate for a couple of reasons.
One to make sure Kate made it back to the camp to get Jack with her. I have no doubt that Juliette would have been able to find her way back all by herself.
Second to make sure Jack didn't waste time looking for Kate.That they headed right back to the beach.

If that is true, then why not leave Kate and Juliette at the camp with Jack? They all would have woke up and found each other a whole lot easier.
I don't bring Syaid in to it because right now because I feel that he was just there and not a key player in what ever Juliettes plan is.

I found it odd also, and when Kate asked Juliet why she simply said something along the lines of "Ben likes to play mind games".

I think it was just a dramatic license for the two of them to spend some quality time together and have a run in with the Smokey. That cat fight over Jack wouldn't have happened back at the camp. Chalk it up to lame plot device.

So how did the key to the handcuffs get into Juliets pocket? That whole exchange about her not wanting to be left alone didn't make a whole lot of sense.

I think good ole' Jules is up for the Academy award this next year, given her repeat Oscar-worthy performances on our Losties. Last week's flashback in the Pearl sure seemed to indicate that she is acting any 'feelings' for Jack.... I too think she has to be part of a Ben Plan.....

Agreed.And it was maybe her last resort in trying to make Kate accept her and bond with her,in whichever way possible.Maybe even literally in that case.It would be the only way she d be accepted back to the crash site.In any other occasion,and if they both d wake up in Otherville,i doubt that Kate d even talk to her.

She seems she dragged kate to the jungle with her,to make her fully accept her before telling her about Jack and the others.Maybe Jack was in on it too!!Maybe he helped Juliet drag Kate into the jungle to make these two bond and then pop the question about Juliet moving to the crash site with them!

Ben plan or as TPTB said,due to her recent brawl with Ben,her own private one.An actress definetely though.And a not so good one,IMHO.
