Hmmmm what do they want now... I think baby Aaron since he seems to be the miracle baby on the island. I've suspected that baby all along... and Vincent too LOL

View Full Version : No doubt, Juliet is a plant BillToons 04-12-2007, 12:06 AM Hmmmm what do they want now... I think baby Aaron since he seems to be the miracle baby on the island. Although wanting Aaron sure would fit too jennylee27 04-12-2007, 12:14 AM I wouldn't say I 100% agree she is a plant. She could have been playing Ben. We know how badly she wants to get away from him. Conveniently, now she is out of his clutches. ame en peine 04-12-2007, 12:17 AM No matter what, whether she's a plant or no (I think she is)... the fact that they put Claire's life in danger to give her an "in" is inexcusable. She could have died. It's like someone setting fire to a building so they can be a hero. abbybaby 04-12-2007, 12:20 AM I wondering is she isn't the 'Cobra" that was eluded to in Expose'? Someone that we least expected as being the bad guy. Problem is a lot of people on this board never trusted her. allergygal 04-12-2007, 01:39 AM I think she's there for Sun. And I don't think Juliet is going to double-cross Ben because she is extremely grateful that he cured her sister's cancer. Whether he really did or not, we don't know, but Juliet thinks he did at this point in time. This episode also convinced me that Juliet's flashcard presentation to Jack when he was captive (about killing Ben) was all just to gain Jack's trust. And the mark they branded on her was probably so Jack would identify with her. ame en peine 04-12-2007, 01:46 AM And the mark they branded on her was probably so Jack would identify with her.Much like Michael when he shot himself in the arm.. hmmmmm..... Save The Humans 04-12-2007, 01:49 AM Are they thinking a serum from the blood of a conceived-OFF-island baby might save the life of a mom ON island? In that case, they might be needing Sun (if she conceived ON island) AND Aaron (conceived OFF island), to test that hypothesis. BillToons 04-12-2007, 11:29 AM No matter what, whether she's a plant or no (I think she is)... the fact that they put Claire's life in danger to give her an "in" is inexcusable. She could have died. It's like someone setting fire to a building so they can be a hero. Not to mention the fact they planted this "in" far in advance. way far in advance. Which raises the question how could Ben have known what order things would go down to perfectly plan/time Claire's condition weeks in adavance? Or possible whatever they implanted was remote controlled to go off at just the right time for Juliet to save the day. These others are really thinking stuff through. starrman 04-12-2007, 11:37 AM No matter what, whether she's a plant or no (I think she is)... the fact that they put Claire's life in danger to give her an "in" is inexcusable. Not sure what your point is here - this is completely in character with how the others behave and get their way. Much of their behavior, as shown to us, is inexcusable within out moral context. I'm not sure your analogy is apt, however, since there is clearly a greater, as of yet unstated goal of the others that we are not yet privy to. If you set fire to a building to be a hero, but the results of that action are necessary in order to save millions from an unrelated disaster - are you then excused? ame en peine 04-12-2007, 10:57 PM Not sure what your point is here - this is completely in character with how the others behave and get their way. Much of their behavior, as shown to us, is inexcusable within out moral context. I thought my point was self-explanatory but.... a) I think Juliet is a plant and b) what she did is morally reprehesible. Yes, I do realize that much of what the others do meets that m.o... I was just pointing that out. I'm not sure your analogy is apt, however, since there is clearly a greater, as of yet unstated goal of the others that we are not yet privy to. If you set fire to a building to be a hero, but the results of that action are necessary in order to save millions from an unrelated disaster - are you then excused?I think my analogy is apt. I'm assuming you're referring to items uncovered in the Lost Experience, which is fine. It's OK to have the end-goal in mind which they've alluded to there. Whether or not Juliet's actions play a part in that is conjecture at this point. I was strictly discussing this episode, and the fact that Juliet risked Claire's life to entrench herself in their camp. sean19023 04-12-2007, 11:35 PM I am sure someone else has mentioned this but when Jack and Juliet are talking while walking back to the beach Juliet says "my people kept syaid chained to a swingset for 3 days, then I dragged Kate into the jungle, handcuffed myself to her and lied about it." I guess i just found it odd that she was admitting to Jack that she personally brought Kate into the jungle with her. So i definatly feel like Jack seems to be working with Juliet or knows that she is still working with Ben. I know that Juliet admitted to handcuffing herself to Kate in the last epi but she also told Kate that she was gassed as well...we know now that she had a gas mask but if she was supposedly gassed as she told Kate she was why would she be so freely telling jack that she dragged Kate into the Jungle? Anyone have any ideas on this or can tell me where i can find another thread on this? |
