This may go against my other thread...but

The eyes are the windows to the soul...When someone looks deep into your eyes, they see what you let them, but also if a person can read you well enough, they can see what you dont want them to.

Jack saw her eyes at the submarine...saw she wanted to get off the island...and made his determination about her sincerity right there and than. Could he be correct about her? could she be decieving Ben? Her eyes told the story and eyes do not lie.

I think she is sincere about getting off the island and I believe she will do anything to accomplish that goal.

This doesn't contradict your other thread it compliments it. I believe Juliet will do ANYTHING to get off the island and she is playing both sides of the fence trying to figure out her next move. She has recently seen video of her sister this puts Jacob and Ben at an advantage. We also know that she needs new mothers to help her complete her research (unless her research was completed by the birth of Aaron).

Eyes have always been important in Lost. Eyes and the point of perspective. I welcome the return of these motifs.

yeh its an interesting call. The closing scene last night showed a woman in deep thought about her next move and not a woman who is cemented to one plan or the other. I can see her extending her loyalties more to the Losties than the Others. She is quietly conflicted.

Two things:

I don't think Juliette has "tricked" Jack. I think Jack believes in his heart that more than anything, Juliette wants to get off the Island. I think after all the craziness with Kate and Locke he just wants to get off too, and will then thinks he will get them all rescued. So he sees Juliette as his #1 ally, they both are determined to get off the island, and anyone who gets in their way, Lostie, or Other, be dammed.

My other point:

EYES!! I know there are lighting issues, and a lot of scenes are shot with light only coming from one side, BUT WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON WITH THE EYES. Am I the only one who notices this stuff? Alperts eyes looked CRAZY in the scene where he is telling her to drink the OJ. There was another part where one of Juliettes eyes looked completely black. Did anyone else notice this stuff, or am I crazy?

I think Juliet hates Ben for not letting her go home, and will side with the Losties. She saw her chance to get away from him and took it.

Glix....Richard Alperts eyes look like that because that how his eyes are. I forget the guys name who plays Alpert, but his eyes always look like that. Kinda like the guy from Stargate/Crying Game.

As far as Juliette she will do anything to get off the island. I think she doesn't want to hurt the Losties but if Ben or Jacob say so in order for her to go home, she will do it.
