Did anyone catch what opera Juliet was listening to in her bedroom scene with Goodwin? It sounds familiar, but I'm too tired to rewind it a couple hundred times.
All the best fictional psychos are opera fans.

I'm bumping this up because I have the same question. It didn't sound familiar to me, and I'm a huge Opera-buff. It could have been lieder or some other classical song. Help, someone!
I will rewatch the episode on abc.com and try to hear it better.
Cheers, Claudia!

It was La Traviata--a most interesting choice.
Violetta ("The Lost One") is a Parisian courtesan who falls in love with a young man from the provinces, Alfredo. He loves her too, and they move in together. But then Alfredo's father suddenly shows up in Paris and convinces Violetta to sacrifice herself for the happiness of others. He explains that Alfredo's sister is about to be married, but if the prospective groom's family learns of Alfredo's disgraceful relationship with a prostitute, they will call off the wedding. Violetta submits to his entreaty and pretends to reject Alfredo, who of course is heartbroken, and only learns the truth when Violetta is dying. (Violetta is consumptive/tubercular and has known for some time that her life probably will not be a long one.)
It's based on a true story, as a surprising number of operas are.
